THE ORIGIN
Dark Roast from Baba Budangiri
The Bababudangiri hills of Karnataka hold a special place in coffee history as the birthplace of coffee cultivation in India. Arabica beans grown in these high elevations mature slowly under dense jungle shade, building structure and sweetness before harvest. Carefully washed and then roasted to a classic Vienna profile, the beans develop deep chocolate notes and a bold aromatic character. This darker roast style highlights richness and body while maintaining smoothness. The result is a comforting, full-bodied cup that reflects both the region’s heritage and the timeless appeal of traditional dark-roasted coffee.
