Overview

A rich, weighty mouthfeel carries the structure, while a mild bitterness threads in for complexity. Roasted medium, it holds its ground as a punchy espresso, shines in delicious pourovers, and is a great coffee for everyday French Press brewers.

THE ORIGIN

Heritage of Bababudangiri Hills

Ratnagiri Estate is located in Karnataka’s historic Bababudangiri range - widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee cultivation in India. Arabica grows under dense shade alongside pepper vines and native forest trees, benefiting from rich soils and a cool mountain climate. These conditions encourage slow maturation and complex flavour development. Carefully harvested cherries undergo refined washed processing that enhances clarity while preserving sweetness and body. Ratnagiri is internationally respected for its innovative farming and meticulous quality standards. The resulting coffee reflects India’s specialty evolution - bold yet balanced, with citrus brightness, nutty richness and a clean, structured finish.
