Mocha - The Original Legend

Not the chocolate drink - the real deal. Named after the ancient port of Al-Mokha, these beans bring wild, wine-like fruit, spice, and a complexity that's been famous for centuries. Coffee history in liquid form.

Mattari - The Western Treasure

Where It All Began

Coffee's journey from Ethiopian discovery to global obsession passed through Yemen. Sufi monks cultivated it for night prayers, traders exported it from Mocha, and the world fell in love. Every coffee shop in the world owes something to Yemen.

Today, Yemeni coffee is among the rarest and most prized. Production is tiny, quality is exceptional, and each cup connects you to half a millennium of coffee history.

In Yemen, coffee farming is a sacred trust passed from generation to generation. The same heirloom varieties that grew 500 years ago still grow today. The same stone terraces. The same sun-drying methods. This is coffee in its purest, most ancient form.

The Port of Mocha For centuries, all the world's coffee passed through the port of Al-Mokha. Yemeni coffee was so prized that the city's name became synonymous with the drink. We still say 'mocha' today.
Qishr - The Coffee Husk Tea Yemenis invented the coffee drink, but they also invented qishr - a sweet, spiced tea made from coffee cherry husks. It came first and remains beloved. The whole cherry gets used here.
