Nestled in the lush Nilgiri hills of southern India, Ekata Estate produces coffees that showcase the evolving character of Indian specialty coffee. Shade-grown Arabica ripens slowly in the cool mountain environment before being carefully harvested at peak maturity. For this lot, the cherries are naturally processed - dried whole on raised beds - allowing the fruit’s sugars to infuse the bean and amplify sweetness. This traditional natural method enhances vibrant fruit character while maintaining balance and structure. The result is a lively cup reflecting its origin: bright, fruit-forward and expressive, with a natural sweetness shaped by altitude, climate and careful craftsmanship.
